Accessibility Statement for Woodside holiday Lets, Saltash, Cornwall


Approach to property:

Turn into the drive and follow through left hand bend and down tree lined drive.  Continue forward straight down to the bottom of the drive onto the gravel parking area.   Park where convenient.


Access to the cottages is via flagstoned pathway from the parking area with a minimal incline but no steps.  There is a level path to all cottages and outside areas.

Woodside Chestnut and Woodside Beech are situated adjacent to the drive (approximately 50m from parking area).

Woodside Willow and Woodside Fir are situated on the opposite side with a short walk to the front entrances along a flagstoned pathway. (Approximately 150m from parking area). Signage will direct you to the right cottage.

Please contact us prior to your arrival to arrange key collection.  Should we not be available to meet you then a key lock system is in place and the code will be given to you prior to your arrival.

Main entrance:

Level access to front door.  Front door access is 950mm wide.  External lighting operates on a timer basis and will activate at dusk until midnight.

Ground Floor:

Entrance into hall way and to living area through internal door (1m wide).  Ground floor is on one level with the kitchen, dining and living area at one end.  Access to ground floor bedroom, toilet and bathroom is at the other.

Kitchen includes low level oven with ceramic electric hob.  All units are standard height.

Showers are walk in through a 500mm access doorway.  All bathrooms are fitted with child lock to enable doors to be opened from the outside.

The utility cupboard is also accessed from the main living area where washing machine and tumble dry facilities are stored.

First Floor:

Access via stair case of 12 stairs with 2 direction changes.

First floor bedroom includes sockets fitted with USB charging points at regulation height.

Fire escape stairs are accessible to velux windows where access to the roof can be achieved.

Grounds and gardens:

The back door is accessed from the open living area directly onto a level paved area.    Path to back gate which enables access to communal garden area.  Large lawn area for general use.

Nearest rail link is: Saltash Train Station, PL12 4EP

Nearest bus stop is: Approximately 1 mile on A388 towards Saltash.
